Lytvyn deems the Church on present stage of Ukraine might become the leading moral factor, factor of society unification. ‘Unfortunately, there is no leading figure in Ukrainian Church that would be able to be equally authoritative for all the politicians and citizens in Ukraine", - the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared. At the same time, V. Lytvyn expressed thought that "language, problems between nationalities and religion are those factors that should have been forbidden in Ukraine during the election period". "One should not make policy out of these issues", - the Leader of the Parliament has emphasized.
